For everyone to enjoy their best possible stay, we ask each guest to abide by the following rules. If you have any questions about these rules or what to expect on the farm, please feel free ask, hun!
Check-in is anytime after 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM.
Hosts will greet you and show you to your room(s). Please let us know when you expect to arrive so we can meet you.
Supper is at 7 PM and breakfast is at 8:30 AM, unless you request a different time. You'll know it's hot and ready when you hear our loud mealtime bell.
Please be respectful to furniture and clean up after yourself, your pets, and kids.
We enjoy providing fun items (board games, puzzles, books etc) in the common rooms. Please take care of these items, and return them to their shelves so they will be available for our next guests.
If you are otherwise bored, we always have some farm chores that need doin'.
Our bonfire pit and patio fire pit are available for your use. Please keep patio fire small and use screen on pit. For the bonfire, keep fire inside the pit. Never leave fires unattended. Fire extinguishers are located in the kitchen. Water is available from hydrants located in the old foundation and by the horse barn.
Smoking is restricted to the outdoor areas, and please clean up after yourself.
No parties or events without alerting the hosts at the time of reservation.
Please note that we live on the farm property and guests who appear to be breaking the rule of having unregistered guests at the barn will be charged the maximum rental rate.
If a guest would like additional people to stay overnight or use the facilities during the day, please adjust the booking to add additional guests ($30 per person per day). The standard rate does cover two guests.
Our horses are great to watch and love apple treats, but don't enter the pastures or open the gates, or you'll have to provide burgers and beer at the local tavern to everyone who has to chase them.
We have free-ranging geese, ducks, chickens, barn cats, and farm dogs. They are all friendly, but please be respectful of their boundaries.
Well behaved pets are welcome. Please contact us for fees and conditions.
Children and pets must be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure safety on the farm.
Our entrance can be navigated with limited mobility or a wheelchair. We have two handicap-accessible rooms (Betsey's and Flossie's) on the first floor with grab bars and easy access showers in their bathrooms. The remaining rooms are up one flight of stairs.
We are taking precautions to disinfect rooms and frequently touched surfaces. Guests are encouraged to alert us to their cleaning and sanitation needs as they arise.
Free cancellation within 48 hours of making the reservation.
Cancel up to 2 weeks before check-in and get a full refund, minus the $50 non-refundable service fee.
We cannot offer refunds for short-notice cancellations, but if you have exceptional circumstances, please contact us.
Is there a pet deposit?
Yes, a $10 pet fee is added for each critter you'd like to bring.
